New Hampshire is home to more than 1,200 active-duty service members, more than 5,680 National Guard and reserve members, and more than 88,000 veterans. Representative Maggie Goodlander is a former intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve and believes that bringing these voices to Congress is a sacred duty. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, she is fighting to deliver for the brave men and women who serve in our nation’s Armed Forces. 

Representative Goodlander, a member of the Military Personnel Subcommittee, understands that the health of our service members is not just a moral responsibility — it is critical to protecting our readiness and national security. She believes the safety and well-being of our service members must remain a top priority. Representative Goodlander is also working to ensure that our veterans have the support they need to thrive and enjoy the freedoms they fought for while serving our country in uniform. She is a member of the bipartisan For Country Caucus, where she works with members across party lines to pass thoughtful legislation in national security, veterans affairs, and national service.
