CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – New Hampshire Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander says she’s bringing a student as her guest for the president’s address to a joint session of Congress.
Andrea Packard of Littleton is a dental hygiene student at New Hampshire Technical Institute Concord’s community college.
Goodlander says she met Packard on a visit to the school where she saw how much they relied on federal funding.
With that funding, NHTI was able to buy all new patient and operator chairs for their clinic, allowing for better opportunities for students and patients to receive care and learn.
Goodlander says any freeze of federal funding would be devastating to school communities statewide.
