WASHINGTON (WCAX) – New Hampshire Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander has helped launch the first-ever Democratic Veterans Caucus.
It’s made up of lawmakers from across the country, from all branches of the services. Goodlander served as an intelligence officer in the Navy Reserve for more than a decade.
“Veterans from New Hampshire and across the country deserve fighters in the United States Congress, and that is what this caucus is all about,” Goodlander, D-New Hampshire, said in a statement.
She says it comes amid threats to veterans’ health care and rising national security concerns.
