Washington, D.C. — Today, Representative Maggie Goodlander (NH-02) took the oath of office to begin her term serving the people of New Hampshire in the People’s House and released the following statement:
“It is the honor of my lifetime to represent New Hampshire’s Second District, a place my family has called home for over 100 years, in the People’s House. The people of New Hampshire sent me to Congress with a clear directive: cut through the noise and fight for solutions to the most pressing challenges Granite Staters face. In my term, that is exactly what I will do.
“Today, and in the days ahead, I am ready to work with anyone — Republican or Democrat — who will work with me to lower costs for hardworking people, deliver for our veterans, protect our freedoms, and ensure everyone gets a fair deal.
“I want to thank the people of New Hampshire for trusting me with this sacred duty. Our office is here to support you in every way we can. Much work lies ahead, and I will work with all that I have and all that I am to represent New Hampshire faithfully and well in the People’s House. Let’s get to work.”
